Dr. Navdeep Nijhawan, our Toronto-area ophthalmologist, graduated from the University of Toronto Medical School in 1995. Following the completion of
his ophthalmic residency, he received the prestigious American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship.
Upon completion of his fellowship in 2003, Dr. Navdeep Nijhawan formed Custom Vision and Cosmetic Centre, an innovative ophthalmic practice that offers both custom vision correction and oculoplastics to Oshawa-area patients. Dr. Nijhawan also practices at The Herzig Eye Institute in Toronto.

Dr. John Neil MacLeod, Toronto-Area Ophthalmologist
Dr. John MacLeod graduated from the University of Manitoba Medical School and completed his Canadian Fellowship in Ophthalmology at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg. Dr. MacLeod's medical career has been dedicated to serving the ocular needs of the Greater Toronto community.
In the early 90's, Dr. MacLeod pursued his growing interest in Laser Vision Correction. Intensive study in this new branch of ophthalmology led him to teaching centres across North America and Europe, where he developed a high level of expertise in Custom Vision Correction, specifically Wavefront™ and LASIK. By teaching other Surgeons and Optometrists, Dr. MacLeod is able to share his vast experience and superior knowledge.
Dr. MacLeod now specializes in general ophthalmology and optometry and is committed to holistic patient care. He places special emphasis on doctor/patient communication and the comprehensive services of education, consultation, treatment, and follow-up care.
